We booked into this hotel for the fourth night of our trip to Ireland. We choose this hotel for its location related to our trip to the Rock of Cashel. The service from start to finish was impeccable. When we arrived, we were exhausted from our day of sight seeing. In addition, the previous nights lodging was a disaster. I... more

Had the pleasure of staying in the Newpark for a weekend in late june as we were attending a wedding in the hotel. Checked in with no problems or delays. Had dinner in the restaurant which was lovely, great choice. Staff were friendly, efficient and local, therefore had local knowledge of where to send us on a night out .... more

Just back from a weekend break at the Newpark Hotel. We found the hotel difficult to locate. Asked a guy in the carpark of a supermarket for directions and he led us directly to the hotel. Hotel was full both nights of the weekend. Plenty of car park spaces. Hotel was very good. Room was cold but soon heated up... more

My first impression of the room I was allocated was that it was spacious and clean. The wireless internet access was also appreciated. However, I had three disappointments. First, the room I was allocated did not have tea/coffee making facilities. Second, although I was tired and had hoped to have an early night, the room was part of a "family... more

We stayed in the Newpark, I'm not sure where the "Premier" comes from, in October as part of a coach tour. You wouldn't think a coach tour would get the best rooms but we, all 46 of us, were impressed with the rooms and the facilities. The only downer was the barman who seemed to enjoy his job as much... more

This hotel is not 4star standard. Obviously according to other reviews the refurbrished rooms are o.k. but we were allocated one of the old rooms which was dull and cold. The bar has no atmosphere and as well as the stale smell of food, it was freezing cold. The reception looks nice but we sat there one evening and it... more

Myself and my husband have just returned from a weekend at this hotel. This is a fab 4 * hotel. Our room was very big, roomy and very very clean. The leisure centre was lovely and i loved the deck chairs around the pool area. I availed of a spa treatment, this was devine. The food in the restaurant was... more

Stayed here weekend of 3rd/4th October. we were allocated a dirty cold room on the second floor towards the rear of the hotel.to say it was cold would be doing it a disservice,we would have been warmer in the kitchen coldroom.when we complained we were told there were no other rooms available but they would send someone up to check... more

I really do wish I read these reviews before booking. I can appreciate that some people had a good experience, however, I have to say, count yourself lucky. I am not one to complain about things, but I have never ever ever been so dissapointed or disgusted. Our experience was very bad to say the least. Like some of the... more
