My husband and I stayed at Breagagh View after discovering not many of the B&Bs in town accept vouchers. The host, Rosaleen, was very nice and helpful. The common areas seemed a little cluttered but our room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was good and Rosaleen gave us very good directions into town and to Cashel the next day.... more

When we arrived, we were showed our room. It looked nice. The garbage can in the bathroom was not emptied from the previous guest, we found a long hair on the floor. The common areas are very messy, the door beside our rooms was the laundry room in such a mess. Incredible!!! Not too mention the backyard. Will not go... more

The host and hostess were very friendly, offering us coffee and biscuits when we arrived. The room was very large. The breakfast was good with 'white pudding' that you really must try. It was delicious. Overall, they were very helpful with places to visit and directions. The walk into town was a little dangerous at times because there were areas... more

My husband I stayed at the Breagagh View B&B in Kilkenny. We arrived late and when we arrived Larry Kinsella was there to greet us. He was friendly and helpful giving us tips on where to eat and have a pint. We had to drive to the village since the B&B is not very close. The restaurant was a little... more

This is a friendly and pleasent place to stay in Kilkenny. The whole family seems to be involved in running it - the woman of the house was out when we arrived but her sons we there to meet us instead and they were polite and helpful. The woman of the house was back on duty for breakfast the next... more

June 2008 We just returned from a 2 week trip to Ireland. We really enjoyed our 2 day stay at the Breagagh View B&B. It was a little far to walk for us so we drove our rental car to the city center to an inexpensive parking lot that the owner recommended. We had a very pleasant experience at this... more

A grand old house which looked inviting... this B&B was recommended and booked through the Dublin Tourism centre. Unfortunately for us (myself, my husband, and adult daughter), we found it to be cold and uncomfortable. The room was freezing when we arrived..and no coffee or tea making facilities (you actually had to ask the owner to make you a hot... more

When we arrived at the B&B, we were immediately welcomed by the smiling hostess. She offered us tea and coffee. When we took her up on the offer, cake was provided as well. The room was extremely clean and smelled like fresh laundry, which was wonderful! The whole experience at the B&B was very pleasant. It felt like a home... more

As a last minute thing I agreed to drive a friend to Kilkenny and rang Breagagh View on the Friday afternoon to book a twin room, which was no problem. It was only after I got there that I found out the owners were away and we were the only guests - the place was closed, but the owner's sister... more
