I have just returned from a trip to Ireland with my sister. The entire trip was wonderful from start to finish. I especially enjoyed the time we spent in the city of Kilkenny, Kilkenny County Ireland. We stayed at the Kilkenny Inn. I would recommend staying there to anyone. The staff was polite and very helpful, even when I couldn’t... more

I stayed here in Kilkenny Inn on the 9th October. The hotel was only a few mins walk to city centre and very reasonably priced. Parking was at the rear of the hotel which is very handy. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Residents bar was great fun on the night. This is a great little hotel and I loved... more

We stayed here on our last night before heading up to Dublin to fly home. Had been to Dublin, Galway and Dingle, each for 3 nights. This was by far the worse night we had, and ended our trip on a very sour note. I have never written a review, but use this site all the time, and this was... more

Reading the other reviews, I can't help but feel like I was in an alternate universe or something. The outside of the hotel looks nice, and the breakfast was decent. That's about all I can say that was positive about the Kilkenny Inn Hotel. I arrived at the hotel and went into the car park and was afraid. It was... more

My husband and I stayed at the Kilkenny Inn for one night in September, 2009. The hotel provides decent value for the money, the rooms are clean, but the hotel lacks personality. If you like staying at Holiday Inns, you will like this hotel. more

I stayed here for one night with my husband in September. The hotel is in a perfect location, it is well decorated and clean. The pub/restaurant attached to the hotel is handy and the food is good. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. It looked as though the hotel had been remodeled and updated in the last few years.... more

We had a good experience here. No problems with the room at all. The Inn is in a quiet location away from the center of town, but still in walking distance to all attractions and the train/bus station. We had the breakfast, and it was good as well. more

The exterior of the hotel is 70's style so lots of concrete. Plastic tables and chairs on the street terrace. The staff were really friendly, the reception areas painted in dark browns. The room, painted in dark colours, was rather small but adequate. The bathroom was fitted with a disabled shower; however, there was no mop to wipe away the... more

The Kilkenny Inn is an ordinairy hotel. The lady at the reception was very friendly and helpfull and you can park your car for free in their parking. Breakfast was good as was everythnig else in the hotel. Nothing special, just good. The city is only a 5 minute walk away. more

nothing to say about the amenities. but the room, although spacious and comfortable, was very anonymous, in contrast with kilkenny atmosphere. the breakfast was a little poor, and the waitress didn't provide to replace the jouices, the scones and the bread once they ended. the hotel was dark, and the rooms on the road were a bit noisy. more
