Stayed at the Lyrath last Monday and Tuesday night and didn't want to leave! The hotel and the grounds are beautiful. We chose an executive room. It was very spacious and clean. It had a seperate dressing room area. The bed was extremely comfortable and the hollow fibre pillows were great. The bathroom had a walk in shower, a seperate... more

Hotel and staff couldn't be faulted. Room overlooked the lawn and was spacious and well furbshed. Food was good although drinks were quite expensive. Facilities were good and the Spa very relaxing. Only disappointing aspects were the gardens especially the walled garden. Definite lack of effort here. more

Unfortunately my wife and I could only stay one night. We availed of all the facilities and can safely say this is an excellent Hotel. The Food was second to none for both Dinner & Breakfast, the staff are well trained and very courteous and the athmosphere is really relaxing. This Hotel is perfect for just chilling out. We'll be... more

From the moment we arrived the staff were so lovely and welcoming. A hot stone massage was booked for me and my only regret was that i forgot my... more

We arrived here with great difficulty....It badly signposted when you come from Munster. I guess it was a bad start for us. We were shown to a room that smelled really bad. I later learnt that this was carpet cleaner- it was disgusting. they moved us after 11 pm. I was exhausted and hardly in the humour. Some of the... more

We stayed here as part of a large group we worked with- for 2 nights. This is a really great hotel. The grounds are supurb and we did several walks around them. The rooms are really spacious- with good facilities- like a walk in shower- then separate bath, toilet. The bed was really comfy, huge windows-with fabulous views. The food... more

Hello.. is this a 5 star hotel or a 1 Star?? Honestly i could not see the difference except for price of course!!! I stayed in Monart around 3 months ago and i can honestly say Lyrath compared to Monart is just well below the expected standard i had anticipated for a 5star hotel since my stay in Monart. I... more
