We stayed at the Kilderry House in Kilkenny, Ireland in July 2007. The guest house is located above the town's post office. We had private and secured parking next to the guest house. There are 7 ensuites- bedrooms with a fullbath- in the newly renovated living quarters. Our room (ensuite) had a queen bed, windows and a great new bathroom- although the bathroom was small- (normal compared to all other places we stayed) the water pressure was amazing. Everything was clean, fresh linens and towels were supplied. The owners were there and are very pleasant people. The rates were competitive. The location is great- located on the lower part of the main street in Kilkenny- short walking distance to numerous attractions- the Kilkenny Castle, Look out tower, churches, shopping, pubs, food, gas, etc.
We would highly recommend this guest house. We also plan on staying at this location again the next time we visit Kilkenny.
