We had such a wonderful time while at The Newland's lodge. It is a beautiful spot and Mairead and Jimmy are so welcoming! You will just enjoy the breakfast so very much--it was the best! Cinnamon scones and the best porridge I have ever had! If you are lucky enough to get reservations here--get ready for a terrific experience!

Clean, spacious and well-decorated rooms and bathrooms. The owner was very friendly and gave good recommendations for places to eat in town. It was very nice being a bit outside of town--quiet with charming scenery. Breakfast was delicious! This is what we pictured when envisioning Irish bed and breakfasts!

Newlands Lodge was our first B&B stay in Ireland. Subsequent stays at multiple B&B's could not compare. The accommodations were excellent including our room, common space, breakfast area and grounds. We stayed at Newlands for one night while touring Ireland. We felt welcome and the B&B is clean with all the little touches to make our stay more comfortable. Mariad and Jim friendly and accomodating - Jim even drove us to town in the evening. Breakfast was delicious. Would return.
