This is a beautiful, spotless bed-and-breakfast. Rhoda and Phil have many years' experience catering to people, and it really comes through here. I was traveling alone during a quiet tourist time (which I recommend!), and it was obvious that they did not skimp in any way because I was by myself or because there weren't a bunch of other guests.... Rosquil was a phenomenal B&B from the moment we walked in the door. We were warmly created by the owners (and other guests) and quickly found ourselves enjoying the high-point stay of our honeymoon. The room was elegantly equipped and very comfortable. Having our own on-suite was surprising at this price point and very much welcomed. We only had one... More

We rolled into Kilkenny after suffering miserably from a stomach virus that had all three of us in various stages of discomfort and misery. We arrived earlier than we had originally planned, having scrapped any idea of sightseeing along the way. Rhoda appeared like an angel at the door and welcomed us and achieved immediate sainthood when she told us... More

What a beautiful B&B! We stayed here for only 1 night unfortunately but one day will return and spend much longer. Phil and Rhoda are so welcoming, informative and nothing is too much trouble. The room is beautifully furnished and there is a very comfortable lounge area for guest use. Breakfast was superb and so beautifully presented. One of the... More

My partner and I initially checked in for an overnight stay at Rosquil House, but were so impressed with the overall experience we decided to stay a further night. The rooms are well appointed and of a high standard. Phillip and Rhoda were extremely helpful and excellent hosts. Breakfast was simply perfect. We will definitely be staying at Rosquil House... The lady who runs this place is so lovely! It's a beautiful B&B with a very homely feel. The rooms are nice and big with comfy beds and baths in the ensuite. The traditional Irish hot brekky was fantastic plus they have juice, muesli/stewed fruits, little cakes and scones.. Great value for money, would definitely stay here again! More

Here is my review of our stay at Rosquil House in Kilkenny. We would have enjoyed Rosquil House a lot more if it had floated down the street and settled nicely somewhere closer to the city center of Kilkenny! (-; Breakfast is where this b&b shines, and they take pride in providing a generous variety of fresh home-made choices. LOCATION:... More

My wife and I celebrated our 13th anniversary here. Hosts were very welcoming and I felt at home right away. The room is awesome. If we get back, I will definitely look into staying here again. For a little more money it is much better than staying in a hotel. Thanks! More

Phil was a very charming host. He made us feel right at home. The room was nice and the breakfast was very good. The lounge area was roomy and nice. This location is a 15 minute walk from the center of town. Phil gave us a recomendation for dinner at Langton's, and we were not disappointed. We will stay here... More
