Rosquil House is comparable to a 4 star hotel, but at a very cheap price. The rooms are very spacious, including the bathroom, and equipped with all you might need. At my arrival I was welcomed by the young owner (Rhoda) who gave me a map and was very helpful in explaining how to reach Kilkenny's centre, which is actually... more

We stayed in Rosquil house for one night in June '09. Check in was efficient but very helpful. The owner went through a map of kilkenny with us, marking off places of interest and good restaurants etc. The room was great. Very generous size, spotlessly clean, and great furniture. It was much more like a hotel room than the pokey... more

My sister, young daughter and I stayed with Rhoda and Phillip June 20-25 in their self-catered apartment. Our rooms were spotless, very well-maintained, and a place one yearns to revisit. Rosquil is an exceptional property with outstandingly kind, caring, and professional owners. Rhoda was very helpful in setting up the visit and when I mentioned I was hoping to visit... more

This was our last stay in Ireland before heading off to England for more sightseeing. We stayed at a variety of castles, hotels and other B&B's. Rhoda was an absolute joy and a wondeful host. The guest house was immaculate and charming. Our stay was a wonderful mix of modern facilities and old world charm. The breakfast was top notch.... more

We stayed two nights at Rosquil House. As others have described, the rooms and house are first rate. Everything is well maintained, lovely and very comfortable. Rhoda was a pleasure and helped us with dinner reservations and suggestions. The walk into town near the castle is about 20 minutes. A little closer to restaurants. Breakfast is as fabulous as others... more

Having selected the Rosquil House based on reviews on Trip Advisor, I have to say that it exceeded our expectations on all fronts which was pretty hard to do given its top and well deserved ranking at the time we booked. more

The Rosquil House was the fourth B&B we stayed at during our visit to Ireland. The guesthouse was newly built. Her daughter greeted us and made us feel welcomed. She suggested on where to have dinner for the evening. Rhoda served excellent full Irish breakfast with assortments of fruits for breakfast. The rooms were first rate. The bathroom was clean.... more

I'm slow to write reviews but have to say, how could I not. This is the best B&B I've ever stayed in. That's the pleasure part of a leisure trip. Many thanks and keep up the good work. more

Six of stayed at the Rosquil House for two nights in May, 2009. Very nice physical property--built as a B&B. Hospitality was excellent. Breakfast very good. Large sitting room. Sleeping rooms larger that normal. Very quiet. 20 minute walk to Tourist Info center. Out of 5 B&B's on our Ireland trip, this was my favorite. more

I found Rosquil House to be the best B&B of my travels in Ireland. In fact, I would rate Rosquil House among the best B&Bs of all of my travels. My mom and I vacationed in Ireland for 16 days, and we spend 4 nights with Rhoda and her family. The house is amazing, the rooms are perfect, and the... more
