As noted by many other reviewers, and travelers, this was the highlight of our trip to Ireland. I spent one night at the Lawcus as I travelled Ireland with my brother. Marc, and Ann Marie, were friendly, outgoing, charming, and just a complete pleasure. The location is rural (about 10 minutes from Kilkenny) and is situated on a nicely flowing... More

We havent stayed at Lawcus Farm Guesthouse yet, we are traveling to Ireland in november for our honeymoon and after reading all the great things about this guesthouse I decided to visit their website and try and book a room. It was really easy! Since I am in the US I emailed them and received a prompt reply, after a... More

This place is so special that I almost don't want to tell anyone! I stayed here with my nine year old daughter on our trip around the world. The minute we pulled in we decided to extend our stay. The place is a little bit of magic. Marc and Ann Marie could not be nicer, more helpful or more engaging.... More

Lawcus Farm was the absolute highlight of our trip to Ireland. We stayed in the stone room, which was rustic, very comfortable and just perfect for us. The farm is situated above a creek with beautiful rolling hills, complete with chickens, goats, dogs, sheep, pigs and even an adorable hedgehog. Ann-Marie and Mark were pefect hosts, with just the right... More

On my last trip to Ireland I stayed at the Lawcus Farm Guest House. I put a video up on youtube of the property and our room here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_j9DU6upr9A The Lawcus Farm Guest House is located in Kilkenny County Ireland, about a 2 hour drive south of the Dublin Airport. It is definitely located in a rural part of Ireland,... More

Our family of 9 recently spent a night at Lawcus Farm, and we all decided that Lawcus Farm was the highlight of our Ireland trip. Mark and Ann Marie were perfect hosts. My Grandchildren sleep with the dogs, just like home. Mark is an amazing guy,and showed us all his handiwork, and how he rebuilt the old farmhouse into the beautiful... More

This stay was not the standard B & B. It was an amazing experience and one that we won't forget. We were given a choice of rooms (2 couples ) and selected to stay in the main house. Anne Marie and Mark over the period of 24 hours managed to share a significant part of their lives with us. Both... More

My husband and I recently took a trip to Ireland with our mothers and stayed in several bed and breakfasts along the way. Lawcus Farm was by far our favorite place to stay. I can't say enough about Ann-Marie and Mark, they were absolutely wonderful hosts and amazing people. Their home is set on a beautiful piece of land on... More

My husband and I stayed for three days mid October, and felt like we had been there forever. The hosts manage that balance between taking care of you and not being in your business, even if you are eating Ann Marie's fabulous breakfast in her kitchen. Three sweet well behaved dogs, two cats (one who drools when petted) and a... More

We had an fantastic stay at Lawcus -- the hosts were very helpful and friendly, the food was delicious, and the property and all it's animals provided a lot of fun exploring! When we arrived at 9AM, my travel weary fiance requested a beer and Ann-Marie retrieved one of Mark's, as well as gave us a shot of local liquor,... More
