After my last review of the Kilmurry Lodge I was invited to discuss my issues with the general manager there. he outlined his concerns over the comments I entered and outlined how the hotel, its owners, and managers are striving to improve the performance of the hotel in all aspects. I am delighted that he took the time out to... more

I found this hotel to be friendly and comfortable and really enjoyed our 1 night stay. The grounds are very attractive and well kept and the ivy covered exterior walls add to the ambience of the hotel. We paid E99 for the 1 night including breakfast having booked it some time in advance. I would definitely recommend this hotel and... more

Be mindful of the price you pay here! My friend and I had driven from Dublin to Limerick and pulled into the property on a whim because it was the first we saw and it was 10pm. The front desk agent quoted me €100 for a room with two beds. I wasn't sure I wanted to pay that much since... more

We had a wonderful long weekend here in February, with our family ranging in age from 51 to 16. We arrived very late on the Friday night and were made very welcome straight away. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and the chef cooked me a special vegetarian option on the second night. Breakfast was great and there was... more

Arrived on a friday night and found the receptionist very uninerested in our being there. ate dinner and breakfast in bar and would not eat there again. steak was horribly overcooked and chips arrived after our plates were almost empty. Breakfast was hardly cooked in the mornin. The bedrooms were fine only that we could hear everything going on in... more

In house movies waist of... more

We Stayed there in Aug 07. Booked it the day we were travelling through the hotels website. Opted for the two nights B&B and evening meal, which was great value as the food was really good, with big buffet breakfast (cereal, fry, fresh fruit etc). The rooms were very clean. The only bad point was that we were woken up one... more

Stayed at the Kilmurry for a night in December. Easy location to find at the entrance to Limerick. Hotel was overall okay, our room looked a bit like someones sitting room, wasn't too keen on the decor, in fact the entire place felt like a large b&b. Staff weren't exactly friendly, they all appeared to be eastern european and had... more
