This was our last stay on our 8 day vacation, and 7th hotel stay. I feel that it is unfortunate to say this was one of the better hotels we stayed at. Best - value, room size, general atmosphere. Worst - rude desk attendant, hair and lord only knows what splattered on bed linens, restaurant. It appeared to be an... more

Myself and my wife stayed here for 2 nights in July. The hotel is modern, clean and well serviced. The bar is nice and lively and the gym also is more than adequate. We ate in the bar but not the restaurant and found it good. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return. more

Room was great, very clean and modern. Arrived in late morning after an all night flight from the USA and the room was ready for our early check in. At check in, my husband and I both got the impression like we were bothering the front desk clerks by trying to check into our room. I don't think this had... more

Thank you for your comments about the hotel. I am dismayed to hear that you thought you were a 'bother' to the front desk team as this most certainly would not have been the case I can assure you & I apologise if you were made to feel like that. The Irish hospitality is still very much present at Patrick...

Do not stay at this hotel if you want to enjoy your stay in Limerick it was a mess from start to finish was booked in for 3 nights checked out after 2 as a result of the poor quality of hygiene in the bedrooms and the rubbish food in the Hotel. The only positive is that it has a... more

stayed here for a weekend in may on a very cheap rate and it is true what they say pay peanuts and get monkeys. The sheets had not been changed from the previous stay, hairs all over the bathroom, marks all over the walls which is surprising for a new hotel also no air conditioning and if you opend the... more

Where do i begin. The room was directly above th reception door therefore everytime the door in reception opened (mainly after midnight) it vibrated through our room. Als o the fire door in our room (which it turns out led out on to the sign for the hotel) Banged everytime the door in reception was opened. At approx 2.30am when... more

I apologise that you were awoken during the night by noise from the front door, unfortunately the night porter was unable to offer you a room move on the night in question as the hotel was full, however the receptionist on duty the next morning did advise you that your room would be moved & left they keys at the...

I received an email from DGhotels about a special offer for this particular hotel. We paid a total of €22 for one night and travelled on the 28th of April. I was really sceptical about the quality of the hotel because of the price paid but i didnt have to worry at all. The reception area was a pleasant surprise... more

When we drove up to the hotel I thought we had arrived at the wrong "Patrick Punch" as coming from the city centre your first view is of the old Patrick Punch Pub and not of the modern hotel facade shown in all the photos. Having realised we were in the right place we entered the underground car park (handy)... more

Thank you for your comments. We are in the process of producing a cocktail menu for our bar and this should be ready in the next couple of months. Kind regards, Amanda Cronin

While recently at the University of Limerick I was booked into Patrick Punches. Sadly my regular hotel was fully booked out. From my "welcome" to my departure it all felt very cold. The reception area is trying to be unique yet looks like 75% of the dozens of hotels I have stayed in within the last 12 months. Someone who... more

Your comments about the hotel have been noted & I thank you for them. However our rooms have never been described as cramped as all rooms in Patrick Punchs are quite large so I am quite surprise that you felt like that, the smiles at the desk are never fake this I can promise you. If you had requested another...

Excellent hotel- easy to find and convenient to Limerick centre. The hotel is well situated, straight up main O'Connell St, onto O'Connell Ave. Slightly shabby from outside- but don't be put off- adds to the wonderful charm! Room 116 was clean, quiet and v. comfortable. Stayed 2 nights! Food in bar was great- and also really relaxing bar to spend... more
