We stayed in 8 B&Bs over a 10 day period. Our experience at Armada was among the most personal. We took the time to talk to the owners and found out so much more about the area and about them than just treating them as hotel managers. The house was not the fanciest place we stayed but the owners made it the most relaxing. It is easy to find, close to city center, same road as Bunratty and Shannon airport. We ended up staying at this house for 2 nights before we flew home. Key is to not be snooty and spoiled and relax and take things as they are in Ireland! more
