I have stayed in the Harlequin hotel on numerous occassions ,my most recent visit started off fine,we were allowed to check in early by a lovely receptionist. The rooms are nice ,both comfortable and clean. The next morning we went to breakfast and as soon as we were finished or what the restaurant staff member percieved as finished we were... More

Dear Laura, Many thanks for your feedback regarding your recent stay with us. I do place great importance on guest feedback so your comments are greatly appreciated. I had the pleasure of staying in the Harlequin Hotel last night and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The decor is fab, right up my street. So different to other hotels I have stayed in. Its in a great location and staff very nice and helpful. I am here on business but would have no problems coming back for leisure .... More

Rooms are normal sized. Great shower. Do not take a room on the street side - noisy and you overlook a cemetery. Free parking and free Wifi. They could use an exercise room. Bar is small and boring. Restaurant is expensive but excellent - closes early. Front desk staff was very helpful. Within walking distance of town and shops. More

Dear JohnMKE, Thank you for your feedback. The rooms are indeed the normal size rooms for any four star hotel, and as we are located town center on Lannagh Road there is some traffic noise, and directly across is the Mayo Peace Park or Garden of Remembrance that commemorates all the soldiers from Mayo that fought and died in all... I have the opportunity of enjoying the Harlequin Hotel experience when in the area. I have attended conferences, award ceremonies, dinnners and stayed on occasion. The staff are a pleasure to deal with. There was one member of staff in particular, Gemma, who goes that extra mile to make sure that everyone is made feel so welcome. It costs nothing... More

This is a lovely place that I always use when visiting my family. I think it is a little overpriced if done last minute but most hotels are, I would suggest getting a deal if you can. Also if like me you hate smoking then I would ask specifically to be put in a non smoking room! Other than that... More

Staff very helpful. Accomodation was spacious and clean, and also quiet. We really got a chance to recharge our batteries. The hotel is ideally located to castlebar town, which saves the hassle of getting taxi's. We also ate in the hotel. Couldn't fault it. Lovely food with efficient and friendly staff.
