The kids loved the swimming pool, we loved the woods which surrounded the hotel. The restaurant was lovely and the food was gorgeous. The staff were were very friendly and helpful. We had a delay for... more

We booked this hotel for one night (July 10/09) through the Ireland Tourist Office and even the clerk who booked it said it was a very good deal. Each room cost 57 Euro at the Breaffy Woods Hotel while if you booked at the older, more established Breaffy House, it was a little more per room but still an exceptional... more

The family room we booked was advertised as being suitable for 2 adults and up to three children. When we arrived it had one double and two singles. We eventually got the cot we needed. Staff were only so-so but were probably under pressure during the busy Easter period. Location of pool was at best 'unclear' in online blurb but... more

In January 2008 we stayed in the chalets of the main hotel and we had a terrible experience. Suffice to say the hotel refused us bed clothes, there was excremnet smeared on the walls and some other problems. We like the others were not asked how we enjoyed our stay and on coming home complained. We complained to the acting... more

Where do we begin. Let me at first say that I lived only 3 miles away for 8-9 years not too long ago, and have frequently been to its sister hotel on the same grounds. We had many good experiences there. Here however at the Breaffy International, things went poorly from the beginning. We arrived at about 3pm only to... more
