I can do nothing but praise this hotel - Me and the girls had an amazing weekend. The Spa is second to none and the staff were ever so friendly and helpful. We all had such a relaxing stay - drinking cocktails and enjoying spa treatments. We were so sad to leave and go home, it was worth every penny!... more

I had being to this hotel near the time of opening and we loved it. In the meantime I came accross the poor reviews it was getting here but to the contrary we decided to take advantage of their promotion of €77 first night and €7 second night. The food was great-I must say it was the best chowder I've... more

Decided to stay here on the day of our engagement. Chose this hotel because looked good on web-site. Explained to the hotel of the situation before we arrived. The room stank of cigarette smoke. The flowers I ordered were on their side with water everywhere and the champagne bucket sitting in a pool of water which soaked the chocolates. Didn't... more

Me and My Partner went on a Three day break here last week. We didn't arrive to late and we got stuck with a room looking out into the carpark. The Rooms were too Hot, which isn't a bad complaint but it was hard to sleep and we didn't even have a radiator on. The room was clean and had all... more

My partner decided to treat me to a few nights in a four star hotel for my birthday. It was a throw up between the Knockraney House Hotel or the Carlton, both 4 star hotels. As we are from Cork and didnt know anyone who could recommend a hotel, we decided to go with the Carlton as we had been... more

BEWARE, If you want to sleep past 8.30 and don't like a lot of noise in the morning then you better contact the hotel in advance and request a quiet room. That was the advice given to me by the receptionist when I approached her after being woken at 9.00 by the elevator which was situated beside our room. It... more

Westport is a magnificent town. Great life and lots to do there and in its surrounds. No problems with the town at all and we will definitely be back. The hotel we stayed at was booked through 1800 hotels and we got a discount price. We booked what we believed was a 4 star hotel but the Carlton Atlantic Westport... more

Warm welcome from hotel staff to this nice hotel. Adjoining rooms ( a good size) for the family was nice. The hotel was clean and at £50 per night per room including breakfast the rates were good. Breakfast always seemed a little rushed ...but the staff got there in the end (need to get a toaster that toasts the bread).... more
