We stayed in this hotel having read reviews in the GO magazine of the Irish Times.Unfortunately it didnt live up to its review. Our bedrooms on the first floor had peculiar odours,no air conditioning,chipboard furniture and uncomfortable beds.The service in the restaurant was extremely slow,the food from starter to dessert were mixtures of flavours,but the result was boring and overpowering.... more

Stayed in Mulranny for a night on our way back from Achill. Thought the location was outstanding overlooking clew bay. The hotel has kept its old style look which works well and our room was massive on the top floor with a bay window. stayed one night and loved this hotel. lovely room with amazing view. Really nice styish bar area perfect to lounge around and read papers. Stayed here for a wedding in May and we stayed in the apartments which are lovely and roomy i must say. Its an ordeal to find apartments from inside hotel as you have to go to level 1 , we turned left out of the hotel reception and went over the lawns.
