We call into this hotel whilst visiting Waterford, on the off chance - whilst looking for a bite to eat. We intended to have a lite bite. But ended having an excellent carvery meal looked after by friendly and obliging staff. Excellent value for money, in a fabullous hotel.

A classic hotel, in a great location right in the heart of Waterford. Great location, clean rooms, modern bathrooms, and a great restaurant and pub. We very much enjoyed the breakfast. We were in town on a Friday, so the pub was very busy. There was a great traditional Irish band playing that evening. Very enjoyable stay.

Stayed at Granville Hotel as part of a tour. The accomodations wer updated old world. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. Dinner was absolutely delicious with sides served family style. Breakfast equally yummy.

The Granville has the perfect location. It has a pleasant entrance lobby, the bar and restaurant are both very nice. The rooms are above average. The price seems competitive. I have stayed in the Granville about 5 times. It is a good hotel and very well located to the centre of Waterford. Good reception, good bar, good room. The hotel has always been good but seems to have improved since my last stay about 6 months ago.

Was a little leery of this one based on other reviews, but the location is PERFECT, the staff friendly and the hotel has had a lovely renovation. Rooms are small, but comfortable with all the amenities and just wish we'd stayed longer.....
