All travelodge's are the same! They say it's budget accommodation but you can get hotel rooms for the same price or even cheaper. The room is ok, it's clean enough very basic. Don't expect too much. We stayed there just one night, and to be fair the reception staff were pleasent when we arrived. However, we paid 99 euros for a room in which the bedside table had been smashed off leaving jagged rough edges. We stayed in this so called hotel for 2 nights just last weekend for 2 nights. The room smelt like stale cigarettes, there were cigarette burns in the carpet and the beds were very incomfortable. I can assure you the carpets & beds are deep cleaned weekly & the only rooms that smell of cigarettes are the smoking rooms. It’s sometimes difficult to get rid of that...
No frills but a bargin for the price. Spent two days in Waterford recently, nothing really to do in this city. We tried. Take my advise, take a lond easy drive to the coast and see the sights. I would not recommend this hotel at all. We stayed for 1 night and Thankfully that was all. It was extremely noisy. Rooms above us sounded like someone jumping up and down all night. Cheap as the proverbial TGI Friday french fry, this is no frills but good clean accommodation, no reason to complain about it being plain, no unusual noises or bumps in the night, the place is fine. Horrid experience - brought home bed bugs from this hotel - I had bites on my back in the morning. Rooms quite stuffy - unable to open windows as we had smokers outside. The room reeked of stale cigarette smoke and the bathroom reeked of stale urine.
