Stayed for an extended day as we attended a family funeral in a local village. We arrived on the 06.30 ferry and were welcomed into the B&B by the owner (by prior arrangement). We had an early morning breakfast and were allowed the use of the room for the whole day so we could change and prepare for the funeral.... more

We spent four nights in St. Martins B & B and I have to say it was simply great! Very lovely house just a few steps from the harbour. The owner was incredibly helpful, friendly and had lots of useful informations. We can recommend this B & B without any exception! more

I found St Martin's B&B to be ideal for my requirements, with easy access to both the port and the railway station. I didn't have a problem paying cash up front, after seeing the room, as I had known this was preferred before arriving. The room was clean and comfortable and I didn't experience any of the problems with noise... more

We were left high and dry by our hire car company. The owner went above and beyond for us, making phonecalls to Dublin and eventually organising the best of a bad lot of solutions offerred by the hire car company. He also helped us with food late in the evening. The Bed and Breakfast itself was comfortable although, I agree,... more

Stayed at this purpose built B&B, unlike most others in Eire which are just modified family homes. Facilites were good, bed comfortable, good shower, and the manager most entertaining, giving us lots of info as to the local restaurants and Bars. Breakfast better than most, and off we went! more

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at St. Martin's. I've stayed every year for a weekend in Spetember since I stumbled upon it three years ago. The owner is like a tourist map for the surrounding areas, giving great suggestions for places to eat, drink or even what walks to go on when staying in the area. The rooms are a... more

Paper thin walls and no sound proofing, we were stood in the hall and could hear everything going on in every other room in the hotel. It is a clean and functional hotel but lacks charm or character. Very creaky floorboaards/furniture. I think my bed was bought from a builders merchants as it was so hard, was it made of... more

St Martin's B&B is a large, very smart-looking and impressive building from the outside. Our room was OK but a little "tired", especially the bathroom where the light over the mirror was not working. There was only 1 bedside cabinet and the curtains were very thin so we were woken early by the sunlight. The room door was very difficult... more

This B&B is very nice. Very clean, efficient and run by very helpful people. The location is perfect for the ferry to Britain. more
