Our two stays of one night each at Clifford House were both great. The owners were friendly and helpful without being intrusive, and the house is outstanding. The view is wonderful, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. We recommend Clifford House highly - an excellent stay!!

We wanted to stay a night before boarding the ferry to England but had our Golden Retriever with us and needed somewhere "dog friendly". No problem, Clifford House were so welcoming to us all and our dog was able to share our room overnight. Margaret greeted us with tea and biscuits and our room was comfortable, cosy and very clean.... More

Located less than five minutes' drive from Rosslare ferry port, the ideal stopover pre or post crossing. Very welcoming, with tea & biscuits in the lounge. Room & bathroom well equipped, free Wi-Fi, chocolate bars on the tea tray! Great views out over the Irish Sea, beautiful garden with palm trees and a clifftop walk to local restaurants. As someone who uses the ferry at Rosslare on a regular basis our group decided it was time to try a B&B instead of the Hotel Rosslare which we had problems with before. We found Clifford House and booked it, the price was fair and we weren't too considered about the condition of the place but we were pleasantly surprised!... More

My husband and I stayed one night after crossing on the ferry from Wales. The view was spectacular. There is a lot of original art work that enhances the old original house with its character and the addition that allows the sea view. Michael was very helpful in guiding us to a pub/restaurant in town that was open "off season".... More

Warm welcome...cosy house with nice lounge area for guests..Very nice location near port on cliff tops overlooking the shore.Pretty garden area..Very light sunny breakfast room and eggs were done to perfection.Good Wifi...Would have liked a t.v in room but, that would have been the cherry on top of the cherry on top of a perfect pavlova.I recommend it highly.

We have stayed here on several occasions, the most recent being in January 2013. This guest house is simple but clean, comfortable and friendly. You are welcomed with tea, coffee and cake. The breakfast is good and served early enough to be able to make the ferry check in time. The accommodation is less than 5 minutes from the ferry... More

Many positives. The views from the yard are amazing and you can't have breakfast in a much better spot. Plus the owner's Irish breakfast is the best I've had...and I've had many. Cozy place and clean rooms. No views from the room we had and I'd guess not from many. We were tired from a long night out the night... More

We chose Clifford House because of its proximity to the ferry terminal and were delighted to find it one of the best B&Bs we have stayed in. The welcome was genuinely friendly and warm, the room was spotless and comfortable, the breakfast was everything you could wish and the views from the rooms were spectacular. The house and gardens have... More

Stayed here the night before our ferry crossing. Warm and comfortable with log fires in the lounge and tea and biscuits on our arrival. Unusual these days to find rooms to have no television or radio but there was a tv in the lounge. Bathroom was a little chilly (think the radiator needed bleeding) but otherwise the rroms were warm... More
