We had a really enjoyable stay here early September, good medium sized room in the courtyard buildings, lovely setting, just a few miles from Wexford town were there were plenty of good eating establishments. Great hosts,James and daughter Margaret, very friendly and informative about the area and places of interest. Great breakfast each morning with Margaret making sure we had... More

What a place to stay . Slaney manor was really enjoyable place for a relaxing break .Stayed in the Courtyard rooms , lovely setting with all the old buildings .The accomodation, and the food were first class. Most of all Margaret was an excellent host and went out of her way to make us welcome.Would definitly return again.

We loved our stay in the Slaney Manor and we definately hope to return. We stayed in the courtyard for the weekend and on the Saturday evening we had a lovely meal in the Castle. The guest house is in a beautiful setting with plenty of parking. Our room was spotless with tea and coffee making facilities and even an electic... More

This guest house is in a lovely setting, with a winding driveway with fields on either side. There’s plenty of free parking, and cars are parked around the back of the accommodation, so there’s no disturbance with noise, slamming doors etc. We stayed in the courtyard, which are converted stables and all these rooms looked out onto the pebbled courtyard.... This is a really quaint little place. We stayed in the courtyard on a deal. While our room was spotlessly clean and fresh, it was quite small and we had very little light from a small window in the corner. There was a standard double bed which is unusual these days as you would expect a king or queen size.... More

Recently spent two nights in the stables in Slaney Manor. The room had no window and the bathroom was quite cramped. The bathroom door opened ditrectly onto the toilet. The breakfast fry was very poor. The sausages were like rubber and the rashers were tasteless. Beautiful location and the staff were very friendly. Would not stay there again.......

We stayed in the coach house on the ground floor for one night. The room was clean and a good size. Bathroom was also a good size. The room was warm though, and there was only one window and no cross ventilation. Breakfast started a little late. We ate lite that morning (fruit, and bread). Overall a good, not great... More

This place is hidden and quite unknown, which it shouldn't be! its so lovely!! We were going to a wedding in a nearby hotel and so 7 of us took 4 rooms here for 2 nights. I stayed in the Manor house itself, the rooms had amazing fourposter beds and AMAZING views! The breakfast was served in a gorgeous dining... More

This guest house is down leafy drive on beautiful mature grounds. The house itself is stunning, very old style. we stayed in the courtyard which is very pretty and has a number of houses with seperate bedrooms in each. This would be great for big groups e.g. weddings. Rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and toiletries. There is a... More
