I recently stayed in The Blue Door B & B with a friend during my trip to Wexford, as some one who works in the Hospitality Business I am quite fussy about where I stay, I was not sure what to expect as i'm not normaly a fan of B & B's but I can honestly say that my faith... more

I was directed to This B&B by a local pub in Wexford, I arrived early in the Day without accomadation booked, As soon as the door was openned, I was made feel welcome, I got a decent sized room to the back of the house, which is just of the main Street, The room was very clean and quiet, the... more

Well, I booked this property based on the reviews, and in my opinion we got an innaccurate description of what it is. Maybe it's a winter time thing, but when we arrived in town, we couldn't find the place - the map was horrible, and the streets are not marked. As it turns out, you can't even drive to it.... more

We stayed here for 2 nights in Nov. Nice clean room with a double and twin, which gave us some extra space, in the back, which was quiet. Being Americans from Florida, we asked about the heat (usually on a timer in Ireland.) Michael found a small electric heater and left it for our use, so we were toasty warm... more

One thing is for sure, if you go through this ‘"door" you will be far from feeling "blue"! If that joke has made you feel depressed beyond hope, then despair no more. Instead, book yourself a relaxing break in Wexford, staying at the aforementioned Blue Door B&B, right in the heart of the town. A short walk from the bus... more

Wexford is a lively town in the South East corner of Ireland and provides a very good touring base. Renowned internationally for its opera festival (the staple fare of rarely performed works has had opera 'trainspotters' like me making a pilgrimage there each year for as long as most of us can remember), in recent years it has visibly taken... more

Stayed here for only one night and found the experience very relaxing and peaceful. The owners are non-intrusive and you are left to your own devices. The room was spotless and well decorated. The beds were very comfortable and there was a very nice atmosphere from the moment you got there. It was a little difficult to find, but with... more

We stayed for 1 night at The Blue Door. Unfortunately, it was a very hot night and we needed the windows open and suffered badly from 'Boy Racers' outside until the early hours. The B&B is comfortable and the hosts accommodating. Wexford is a confusing town...lots of one way streets! The breakfast was excellent, a good choice. more

I was in Ireland for 9 days and this was the best place we stayed. There were only two people in our room but they gave us a huge room with two twin beds and one double bed. It was very clean and had a TV. I can't recommend this BandB enough. When in Wexford stay here. The location is... more
