We went to the Arklow Bay to attend an Anthony Kearns concert there. We were pleasantly surprised at the price of a 2 nights/one evening dinner deal. The hotel has a lovely waterside setting, good rooms, nice restaurant and bar area, leisure facilities, everything to make for an enjoyable stay. The staff and service were very good. The buffet breakfast was all very... more

Friendly efficient check in, helpful receptionist. Had dinner in Restaurant which was lovely and again friendly staff. Bar was warm and welcoming and there was a good atmosphere around. Rooms were clean but a little on the small side. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and will be back again very soon more

The kids are allowed to run a muck in the corridoors , using them as a race track while the parents get tanked up in the hotel... more

First of all, the hotel website directions refer to a Shell Garage as you approach Arklow, this is now a Topaz. The hotel is nothing special, TV in room was a very small portable, breakfast was ordinary. For the rates charged they don´t seem to be matching with the service & cleanliness levels expected. If you are attending a function,... more

This is a nice hotel near the sea. The staff are friendly but we did have to wait 30 minutes for an iron and ironing board. We went Friday-Sunday and both friday and sat night there were parties on. A wedding on friday and a 21st on saturday. It was very very noisy and the 21st party was only just... more
