had to write up a review on this place, myself and my family, (3 children) have just come home from a wonderful trip . We stayed here during the kids midterm break from school, loved it! Really relaxing, the dog, Mindy was adored by the kids, the trampoline in the backyard, all was brilliant. So nice to find somewhere at... more

Truly the best bed and breakfast we have stayed in. Hosts Catherine and Michael were extremely accommodating, pleasant and friendly. The house was spotlessly clean, our room was beautifully decorated, bed very very comfortable, plenty of hot water and clean towels, the view was also just spectacular. Breakfast was absolutely DELICIOUS! What really impressed me about the hosts was that... more

After touring Ireland, we were on our eigth day and on our fifth B&B stay so we knew pretty much what was good, great and the best. I cannot possibly and objectively rate this at all good. Upon our arrival we were told that Catherine was not in to take care of her guests and had a "weekend off". Please... more

We stayed here in September on our way back to Dublin, it was gorgeous. Catherine was friendly and welcoming, as was Mindy (Labrador). The setting and home are wonderful and the breakfast was super. There is a lot to se in Wicklow and it is very pretty. more

My family spent one night at Dropm Ard. It was very nicely decorated with bright colors and modern facilities. We had a 2 room suite in which my husband and I had one bedroom and our teenage sons had the adjoining one with the bathroom. It gave us and them some privacy. We had a wonderful Irish breakfast the next... more

We just returned from a week of self-drive b&b's in Ireland. The Drom Ard B&B in Wicklow was fantastic. Views of the countryside and ocean. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We felt very much at home. The property is modern, clean, and close to town. Breakfast was delicious...from continental to big Irish breakfast made to order. The neighborhood... more

We were traveling around Ireland for a week, following a wedding. We decided to stop in Wicklow, as it was rather late in the afternoon, with no prior arrangements made for accommodation. We came across Drom Ard in one of our B and B books. I phoned and giving the owner only 10 - 15 minutes notice, she was most... more

Drom Ard was recommended to us by friends (a family of 2 adults and 2 boys - like us). And we weren't disappointed. We enjoyed our stay with Catherine and her husband. Of all b&bs we stayed in we found this to be the most 'homely' - informality was the rule of the day and that is something we enjoy.... more

My family traveled through Ireland in July and we booked a night's stay at Drom Ard B&B. The rooms were lovely, large and very modern. Our hostess was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and traveled into central Wicklow from the B&B for a great evening. Our breakfast the next morning was just perfect. We would love to return. more
