I would highly reccommend the Crown Inn for a quiet weekend away. The room we stayed in (Nene) was spotless, very spacious, with a high quality finish and many thoughtful touches. We also enjoyed a very good evening meal (if a bit over-ambititious!) and an excellent freshly cooked breakfast with a good range of choices. more

We arrived on a very quiet Sunday evening. A warm reception and a pleasant pint. My room was up under the thatch, so dark with small windows - inevitable.
