We stayed here for 3 nights over the October half term and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. A well situated Inn, just 7 miles north of Harrogate. Whilst fairly small, the service was excellent with friendly staff and bedrooms that were very clean and well maintained. After a death in the family, we just fancied a night away and this place fitted the bill. It's a lovely old building and the food in the restaurant was very tasty. Great base to explore Harrogate and Ripon. INCREDIBLE showers in the room, but the room itself was a bit small. more
We made a flying visit to the New Inn because a friend was getting married close by - we arrived just before the wedding and left the morning after so didn't have much time, but we would have liked to have stayed longer and also tried the restaurant, which looked great and was very popular on the day we arrived.... more
