Knabbs Ash must be one of the best B&B's in the country. Not only does it represent excellent value for money but the attention to detail has to be experienced to be believed. More

This B&B place is the most perfect place for your stay in the area - excellent rooms, very clean and tidy and the breakfast is tremendous - choice is everything - Situated close enough but far enough away so that its very handy as a base to visit lots of places all around the area. Sheila & colin who own... More

If you going to visit that area, there's no point to spend ages looking for a place, this is the place to stay. Room was really nice and pretty, nicely decorated. More

Sheila, Colin, "Tess", the hens, and sheep, made us feel part of their lovely family. We were very welcome, and the rooms were beautifully presented in the latest designs. Breakfast with freshly laid eggs, rooms spotlessly clean; it was a shame we were visitors working at an exhibition in nearby Harrogate, and unable to totally relax and benefit from the... More

First time visiting 'Knabbs Ash', but it will not be our last. We received a warm welcome on arrival and tucked into some of Sheilas cake and a very welcome pot of tea. We were then shown to our room (No. 2) that had wonderful views across the countryside. (Highly recommended!). The room was decorated tastefully with a Kingsize bed.... More

From the minute we arrived at Knabbs Ash we knew we had made an excellent decision. We were shown to our room and while we took our cases up Sheila made us a welcoming pot of tea accompanied with some shortcake which we consumed in the guest lounge. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom were spacious and spotless and everywhere we... More

A return trip to our favourite B&B didn't fail to please and exceed expectations. Sheila sets the standard that we expect from other B&B's, but as yet we have found no other to compare. Many a time we have looked at each other over the breakfast table and whispered 'it's not like Knabbs Ash is it'. We have been converted... More

My wife and I were taking a holiday throughout England, Wales and Scotland during the first weeks of Sept 2011. We stayed for 2 nights at Knabbs Ash and absolutely loved it. Shelia and Colin made us feel right at home. The room was spacious and the breakfast cooked perfectly. My wife especially loved the porridge, of all things. The... More

The warmest of welcomes, the nicest of smiles The best B & B for miles and miles This was the first time we have stayed here and we were cared for all the time, even though we arrived much earlier than expected! Sheila, Colin and Tess the dog made us feel at home from the start, the attention to detail... More
