Our daughter and son in law have just been married at Ripley Castle. The Boar's Head Hotel is just next door and it was convenient to stay there. I have to say that we were delighted with every aspect of it and had a wonderful stayover. The bedrooms are very spacious and clean, very good breakfast with lots of choice.... more

This is a really lovely hotel with many refreshing and thoughtful touches, delicious home made biscuits with the tea/coffee making facilites and even a chocolate pig on the pillow at bedtime! Beautiful building in lovely village and castle just a hundred yards away. Lovely rooms, large and comfortable with enormous beds and a wooden boat to sail on your bath. Very friendly and helpful staff and lots of them. Wonderful food, both in the main restaurant and in the bar, with great breakfasts. Somewhere to spoil yourself for a great weekend... more
