Have just returned from a stay at the Old Swan where we had a group booking for approx 8 rooms. The hotel whilst appearing quite charming seemed charmless for our brief visit. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Harrogate, which itself is one of my favourite places then there is nowhere better than the Swan. I booked a surprise weekend in Harrogate for me and my partner to celebrate his 40th birthday. We really needed a relaxing break. Forget it here!! I was disappointed to read that your stay had not met expectation and specifically the allocated room and noise had been most dissatisfactory. We do receive many positive comments from guests regarding the hotel however I am sorry that this was not the case on your visit....
