We have just returned from a "surprise" break to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It had been booked in secret by our Son and Daughter. Overall we found the hotel to be excellent although we felt as though we were 20 years too young for a Warner holiday, notwithstanding this small point we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in what is an... more

we have just returned having spent a two night break and i have to say we were dissapointed. we felt that the hotel had more of a holiday camp feel, the food was a bit like canteen food with not a lot of choice. on a good note the swimming pool is lovley. however you have to pay 50p each... more

We stayed @ Nidd Hall for a recent Boogaloo Blues weekend & thoroughly enjoyed our stay, although like other reviewers found the let down was the food. Breakfasts are excellent, as ther is plenty of choice although the scrambled egg looked more like porridge! Dinners were just "OK" , & there could be more thought on the veggie side i.e... more

Just come back from a short stay at Nidd Hall 15th August 07and have to say we were a little disappointed. The location and surrounding area is lovely and the hotel itself is very nice. We had a superior room which I couldn't fault. The thing that lets this hotel down is the food, it is at best average. The... more

When we arrived we found the reception staff very helpful and were asked if we needed help with our bags, the only... more

I agree with most others here. My husband and I found that because we didn't have a car - you can not walk to a bus stop - the only way was by taxi to the town which cost £10.60 ONE WAY. The room was very nice but found we had a DVD player for which you had to pay... more

Hotel review sites are very dangerous aas they are often used only by people who have gripes. Having read the other reviews on this site, I wpuld like to offer my version. I am a travel journalist and have travelled extensively. Warner Breaks give the impression of being for the over 50s. Maybe they are midweek but the weekend breaks... more

Have just returned from 4 day holiday at Nidd Hall nr Harrogate which is a Warners Holiday Hotel for adults only. The brochure states that there are Disabled rooms which my friend booked for herself because of mobility problems, the room is easy access if you are a wheelchair user but the bathroom is a bath with grab handles and a... more

Our 4th visit overall and 1st of 2007. Arrived at lunchtime Friday 9th February, to a beautiful snowy landscape. Also arriving at the same time was the star entertainer - Legendary American Singer AL MARTINO- a lovely gentleman - we looked forward eagerly to his performance the following evening. The room, food and hotel facilities were, as before, 1st class,... more
