Our first visit to this hotel - booked double room with breakfast for 1 night. Reception closed on arrival(5 pm). Had to find bar staff to book in - required to pay on arrival, which we did and then she forgot to log this fact which caused confusion on departure! Staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Ate in the restaurant in the evening the food was excellent, very traditional home cooked grub. The room was very clean and well presented. Plenty of towels and nice biccies in the hospitality tray. Lots of parking and the beer was good too according to my partner!!!! more

Well i stayed in the little thatch for 1 night as i am usually on business in Gloucester, the hotel looked bautifull from the outside and the room was generally ok, just the price for what i was getting was nothing out 2 special.
