The Thistle is genuinely within walking distance of East Midlands airport Departures, and the car parking arrangements onsite are excellent. Not a 4* Hotel in my view. Rooms good size but furnishings, bathroom, lounge etc nothing special. Very expensive bar and restaurant. Breakfast adequate but for 4* you would normally expect a buffet breakfast but this wasn't. more
