The service on reception is excellent as you never have to wait to get your keys. All is prepared as you arrive. The rooms are spacious, clean, beds really comfortable and TVs modern. The Hallmark hotel in Derby (previously the Midland) is an excellent place to stay. It has been upgraded since being the Midland, it is convenient for the station and the staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgable. I would recommend it as the best place to stay in Derby. more

I stayed here on a Sunday evening - arrived late - good welcome, Very clean and modernised room. Quiet even though it was next to the train station. Comfortable bed and nice breakfast. I understand room recently modernised, nicely done too. Wish I had arrived earlier to enjoy the hotel more. Would definately stay again. And there's parking too. more
