As a full-time wheelchair user this hotel attracted me with its promise of a "flat-floor shower". The pictures on the web-site show large modern rooms and previous reviews about the hotel were positive. The reality was a little different! It's modern. clean and no great surprises. Two salient points-from certain rooms (top floor and rear) you can see clearly the Cricket ground and potentially watch a match...but if you are into cricket you probably know that already! Boyfriend and I are big Derby cricket fans, so this hotel was in a magic location for us! The receptionist Shelley was always a great help, she also managed to put us in a room which faced onto the ground so we saw the players practice before the game!
