Stayed with Sue and Winston many times over the years and have been very lucky they have been able to accommodate me. The warm welcome, comfortable clean rooms, decent large fluffy towels, mini fridge [to keep a beer or two in] and of course the chocolate bars make it a lovely place to return to after a long day. The superb... more

I came down to Swindon for an interview with Intel. I sent off emails to various bnbs and received a response from Jessamine Cottage first, so I decided to stay there. During my stay the rooms were astonishingly clean and homely! Winston had also given me a prep talk for my interview which I found most helpful. Breakfast was delicious,... more

This was our second stay at Jessamine Cottage. We have many years of experience of B & Bs and can honestly say that this is the warmest welcome and best breakfasts we have encountered. The rooms are spotless. We shall certainly be returning. Peggy & Peter Guggenheim more

Just a few minutes walk from central swindon, this B&B is ideal for a business traveller looking for a warm, friendly alternative to an impersonal hotel. Comfortable rooms with extra facilities such as iron, toiletries and even a mini-fridge for your fresh milk. Wifi on request. Magnificent breakfast selection with pride of place going to the foaming freshly squeezed orange... more

extremely well run, friendly, professional - an excellent family run establishment that puts the 'corporate/faceless style hotels' firmly in their place with the added benefit of freshly made bread and a breakfast 'to die for'! Sue explained that she aspired to create a 'home from home' whilst maintaining superior levels of service, cleanliness and facilities that she herself would expect... more

After being let down by another hotel, I came across this lovely place! Rooms were very clean and lots of after thoughts gone into welcoming you during your stay - fresh milk in a mini fridge in the room, pre ordering breakfast so you don't have to wait, lots of mini toiletries, a small bottle of water to take away... more

Sue and Winston are lovely people, who made me feel welcome right from the first moment I walked through the door. Jessamine Cottage is close enough to town to be central, but not close enough to be noisy. The room I stayed in (single, Queen's Park room) was light and sunny, and larger than I expected from the photos. They... more

This is a delightful find, a quaint B and B where all my needs were pre-empted, down to a handy bath robe, toiletries, cable tv and even a complementary bar of dariy milk in the room. The freshly squeezed orange juice is also highly recommended! The place itself is really comfortable, very cosy and the bathroom is spotless with a... more
