The Cricklade Hotel and Country Club really is a hidden gem. Set in fairly good location for travel into the Cotswolds, the hotel has beautiful views over the surrounding countryside and is itself a beautiful listed Cotswold stone structure. I stayed in this hotel at the end of November as all the other hotels in the Swindon area were booked. As per an earlier review, the plumbing in room 19 is atrocious. One would have better success taking a shower under a slobbering St. Bernard than with the situation in this room. The plumbing issue however does not seem... more
