Just awful. Room was dirty. Sheets had bloody stains on them. Shower was gross, didn't drain with other people's grubb flooding the bathroom. Pillows were flat; bedvwas uncomfortable. View was none existent and outside very noisy. The whole experience was just dire. First time user of travel lodge. And I'll never do it again. Just a sh*t hole. more

This hotel was pretty dire, very bare and very basic, loads of drunk people bashing about in the middle of the night. Horrible horrible place to stay, I would never use a Travelodge again, they have gone down hill badly - worth spending a little more for a Premier Inn. This place isn't really worth a 1 star rating! Once again we stayed at the Travelodge Swindon Central and the service was fantastic. What people don't seem to realise is this is a budget hotel. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable and there is a bar/food area. Never stayed at a Travellodge before. The price seemed good. But if the price was toast - then toast was what you got - no added benefits. Just got back from a weekend in the Swindon Travelodge. The hotel was decent but there were many things that i felt could have been improved. Good location. Clean room but very chilly - we stayed over for one night in February and the bathroom was like a freezer! Usual awful pillows that Travelodge use but the room was very clean with plenty of room. All in all, good value and recommended. more

Stayed at this hotel twice in the last few months and was pleasently surprised that for £26 per room such a good level of cleanliness & comfort can be found.
