Only spent one Saturday night here and the place is lovely, we had a very warm welcome from Mel, who is very friendly. Our room was very nice and we had everything we needed inlcuding a good hairdryer, plenty of shower gel and plenty of tea, coffee etc - just some of the things that are usually lacking in other... I looked for a B&B in Telford as I work there frequently throughout the year and have stayed in virtually all the hotels and each and every time have been disappointed by the poor quality. The Hartfield Guest House sets the bar in a different place all together. Fantastic setting, plush and comfortable rooms all hosted by owner Mel. You... More

Hartfield GuestHouse is approached down a semi rural road and entry via electric gates to large gardens to an imposing house. The host Mel is a lively and friendly lady who makes you feel very welcome and provides a very tasty breakfast. There is a modern styled comfortable guest lounge with well stocked bar and Sky TV. We had a... More

Stayed here for five nights whilst visiting family. A very warm welcome by Jason and Mel who served a delightful breakfast either a full or part English depending upon taste. Nothing too much trouble. Room five with super king bed most comfortable with en suite shower/wc etc. A good wi- fi connection in the room. Lovely setting and would recommend... More

Spent two nights last week with some Italian visitors and had a very pleasant stay so no need to add further to the positive feedback. I would note that the Internet connection is not so good, especially if you need to download reasonably large files. I also found catching up on tv programmes via the Internet very stop start to... Excellent . Mel and Jason wonderful hosts. The rooms are very well appointed and beds very comfortable. Could do with a more powerful shower. Food was all good, including evening meals with a good choice. Nothing too much trouble, including cocktails in the hot tub! Grounds need a bit of a tidy but it did not detract from the stay.... We only had one night but it was really excellent. We arrived late, we were cold and tired Mel had turned the heating on and the room was wonderfully warm and welcoming. We needed food but there was no where open nearby so she kindly arranged for us to order a take away, which we were able to eat in... More

Mel and Jason catered for our every need and worked tirelessly. Nothing was too much trouble, including delicious cocktails bought to us in the hot tub! Shame the swimming pool was out of action. The rooms were well appointed, stylishly decorated and the bathrooms clean and well equipped with complimentary toiletries. Would have preferred a more powerful shower. We had... More
