We stayed at this hotel over an extremely busy Bank Holiday weekend and were astounded at how smoothly the staff ran the hotel. The intial attraction of this hotel was its location. Our grandson's house was a morning's walk away across the Town Park, and the station a reasonable distance in the opposite direction. Oh dear. This place needs some serious faceliting. It's not really all that cheap, presumably because it has a pool and so on, but it's massively run-down. this hotel is the best ive stayed in. we took our 2 children 6yrs and 2yrs of age and they loved it as well. The hotel is immaculately clean the staff are very friendly and helpful the food was amazing we definately felt that we had superb value for money and will definately go back more

We stayed for a weekend at the beginning of June and had a great time. Good weekend leisure hotel for families - mainly due to its nice pool and parkland at the rear of the hotel.
