We booked this hotel as it was close to an event we were attending. It is in a bit of random location....in the middle of an estate, but we received a warm welcome. This isn't a four star......but a decent enough 3 star. Our room was clean and warm with tea and coffee making facilities. We had an extra bed... More

We stayed 1 night at the hotel in a large and nice family room. The bed was large and comfortable, the second bed was a sofa bed and even with this made up there was plenty of room. There was a small table 2 arm chairs, a large desk and further chair. The bathroom was small but clean and adequate... More

Hiya I just thought I'd let anyone who's looking to stay in Crawley near gatwick airport know what an excellent place barrington lodge is to stay. The room was modern very clean with tea coffee facilities, large flat screen tv, descent bathroom with shower (although not very powerful) it was hot and did the job. We booked late and arrived... It is billed as a four star hotel, which is the first joke - unless they missed off the 'minus'. Situated on what appears to be a run-down housing estate in the middle of nowhere, it is a 200-year old building that clearly hasn't seen much attention since mid-Victorian times. Our twin room was dark and shabby: half of the... More

I found this Hotel online and was so pleasantly surprised. Everyone was very helpful and kind. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room temperature was just right. It is in the 'middle of nowhere' so ideal for trips around the town and hidden away enough to deter unwanted vivitors. I was sorry to leave. The breakfasts were amazing, more than... More

I could not believe how badly treated we were at this hotel. We booked a large double room as we wanted to be together with our children, and my husband was going to visit family so wouldn't be in until early hours of the morning. We explained this on the phone and the receptionist was fine with the arrangements. When... More

The hotel is quite ok... but if we have give a highlight about it, it would be the friendly, sexy and nice spaniard at the reception desk! She was so helpful :D I got everything I needed and she answered all my questions. I loved her accent!!!!

The staff at this hotel are wonderful and so helpful. I met two Spanish girls who were working on the reception and they were lovely. All my needs were met and the room was lovely and clean, plenty of clean towels, fresh bedding and immaculate bathroom. Unfortunately I arrived when it was dark and the street lighting in the area... Worried about the reviews I didn't know what to expect but I found the rooms we stayed in on both occasions fine and clean. The restaurant was a bonus and they provided food at 10 despite closing at that time. The shuttle which you call for from the airport when required is a great bonus too and at £5 return... More

The first impressions were not great. It's located in a council estate. We had booked a king size room, but were given a double room on arrival. They changed it to a king size room, but we had to move to a smaller king size room for nights 2 and 3, because someone else had booked that room. The beds... More
