The great bones of a B&B were there, but not taken care of. We were to be picked up at the airport, but no one was home and we were out considerably to take a taxi for a four mile distance. We got there when the owner arrived at the house, but were not compensated for the taxi. The grounds were well planted, but not cared for. The breakfast using the Aga was what we had booked for and were very happy with it. The location was great in a quiet village near the airport. We had booked a room in the house, but were taken to a carriage house with more space, but little character. I was planning to fully book the cottage for a group trip in October, but could not trust the owners to keep their end of the deal.
