Location is about 5 minutes from the train station and then you are right in the middle of Piccadilly. Reception really helpful. We had a standard twin room which was lovely- very clean and spacious. Bar and restaurant good - great service even though it was very busy. Malmaison is a great place to stay. more

Stayed at the Manchester Malmaison for a special birthday treat but sadly it was not very special. The room was adequate but not great, with very limited storage space and hardly any room to make tea or coffee. Good location -- hotel is located very close to the train station. We were upgraded to a suite, nothing special. The decor is very dark and unwelcoming, the bed was comfortable and shower was great. Hmmmm...what can I say, room not amazing and done in bold red and black, very 80's. Was moreso just like a nice hotel room as opposed to something AMAZING, food was ok, the champagne and strawberries were nice and the rose petals on the bed...must say their sister chain hotel du vin is so much better. more

My boyfriend booked us into the Malmaison as a birthday treat even though we both live in Manchester, conveniently located near Piccadilly Train Station for those arriving by train.
