I stayed at this privately owned hotel in September 2008 whilst on a business trip. Woburn Sands is just to the south east of Milton Keynes, and just off the M1 - so it's ideal for trips to the general Milton Keynes area.
The hotel is a modern building, situated just behind the main street through Woburn Sands. The building is adjacent to the Woburn Sands Social Club, with good (free) parking facilities. It's not pretentious, but the welcome was warm and friendly. My room on the ground floor was a good size, and had all the usual facilities. The bathroom floor was carpeted rather than tiled, which was a surprise for a fairly modern hotel.
When checking in, I was given a buy-one-get-one-free drink voucher for the adjacent social club. With no bar of it's own, I guess this is a decent compromise if you aren't looking for glamour.
Breakfast in the "Green Room" was included in my rate, and was buffet style - the usual selection of juices, fruit, cereal and cooked... more
