I feel that reception is the heart of any hotel and as the receptionist is the first person you see they should be warm and welcoming. Grace in the Premier Inn in Milton Keynes is such a person. During my stay I found her and all staff to be very approachable and pleasant, I found the room comfortable and the... more

I stayed here for one night, check in was quick and efficent and they were very helpful with local directions. The room was large, clean, and had a lovely view of the lake, although the bathroom could do with a revamp, with peeling paint on the ceiling, and awful tiles, but it was very clean. The adjoining pub was good... more

Straightforward, and pretty much what you'd expect from a chain. The room was clean and the staff helpful. The location next to the lake is scenic and quiet, especially when the weather's good. The attached pub/restaurant is pretty grim and smells of stale frying, so don't eat there, and it closes at pub hours so there's nowhere to hang around... more

The lady at reception changed our booking instead of turning us away. This was really appreciated after a long day of travel. Rooms as expected were basic. All the... more

My husband and I were attending a wedding in the area and stayed for two nights. The staff on arrival were very attentive to our needs and extremely helpful making us feel very welcome. The room was immaculate and the view of the lake was excellent. The heating worked well as we could control the level of heating. The restaurant... more

Stayed for weekend, very clean very comfy room. Great bed and great shower. Very easy to get to with no problems (and no extra cost for) parking, The attached bar and restaurant had decent food at a decent price. Staff were really helpful.
