We stayed at the farmhouse, and ate dinner at the pub. Unfortunately we were sadly disappointed by the accommodation for which we were charged, and paid, £140 and an extra £20 for a cooked breakfast. The only comment is that it was grossly overpriced. While the bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable it still doesn't warrant the hefty £140 price... more

My husband and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary here and absolutely loved this little farmhouse. I think there were only four rooms, but ours was lovely with a 4-poster bed and spotlessly clean bathroom. Most people come for the homemade "meat pies" that are served nightly in the farmhouse restaurant... lots of locals there. Be sure to eat dinner... more

Booked a treat weekend - lovely four poster - great room & large bathroom, complimentary tea / coffee / biscuits / juice in fridge & sweets. Pub opposite, beautiful location, but you do need a car! Evening meal in the pub was nice washed down with some great fruit wines (but quite potent!) but stumbling distance back to the accommodation!... more
