I came to the Larkfield Priory - Hamlet restaurant on Saturday 28 November for a family reunion. The meal they gave us was lovely and the staff really polite and helpful. All of us throughly enjoyed the experience. Lovely meal and and lovely day. more

Have stayed at the hotel once before and was not impressed. Had heard they had renovated. I am not sure what was renovated but the beds were still uncomfortable and the bathrooms were dated with the caulking around fixtures quite grotty. The continental breakfast was not very continental. On Sunday the rule seemed first come first served and you had... more

Myself and my husband along with a large group of family and friends stayed at this hotel hoping to end our special day on a high, but were very disappointed with our stay. We choice this hotel because it was a short distance from our weding reception and in the past had always driven past thinking how nice it would... more

We booked three adults in one room at a very reasonable rate, plus continental breakfast. The hotel was easy to find and looked OK from the outside. The bedroom, which was big enough to hold three single beds. The bedding was clean and beds comfortable but the furniture was chipped, and each piece needed some serious polishing and stain removal.... more

We booked this hotel for a stop over on our way back from Germany. It was a couple of miles from the motorway and the location suited us. On arrival we found it looked a littly tatty on the outside but there was worse to come inside!!! We stayed in room 101 which was in a quiet part of the... more

What can I say? Booking was easy - went for a psychic night being held at the hotel. Had booked a double room for single occupancy and got the surprise of my life when I went into the room and found it was the bridal suite complete with a four poster bed. The staff were so friendly and looked after... more

Stayed one Sunday night. First impressions OK, if you turn a blind eye to the massive B&Q store immediately next to the hotel entrance. Reception and bar areas appear to have been refurbished. Bedroom and bathroom was another matter. The bedroom was gloomy and wallpaper lifting from walls at joins. The bathroom floor was revolting; it was covered by vinyl... more

Never ever again!! Very overpriced!! Very noisy!! We stayed here as it was close to a family wedding, well so we thought from the hotels website. It is a long drive from Maidstone and not near any attractions. The rooms are old and shabby and the double room we requested was in fact a twin as we were clearly less... more

I can't really fault this hotel. The room was very spacious and comfortable and the staff were really friendly. I ended up here as a result of a mix up with Expedia and would comment that it is a £10 taxi ride from the centre of Maidstone where the function I was attending was. Having said that the hotel provides... more
