The hotel was clean, food was good and staff were excellent!! It was well located as we had gone to 'explore' Kent and the surrounding area and had easy access to get to Canterbury, Hastings, Tunbridge Wells etc. Maybe slightly overpriced for what you get, but we did use the pool/sauna etc and they were fab!! more

This is a good hotel for the money you pay. Gym is great but the pool is better. Rooms are small but well decorated & very clean. Resturant is good, bar gets abit over populated by locals but its not bad. Breakfast is also good. Staff are helpful & it has free wifi throughout the hotel more

Lets start with the good points, there was plenty of car parking space and the room was clean and the fitness facilities were good should you choose to use them. The bar area was not conclusive to a relaxing atmosphere due to overly loud sports programes on the telivision. The rooms were also not very well constructed as we could... more

Had already stayed in April and it was ok - ate in the restaurant on Saturday night - service very slow but food, when it came ok. As was breakfast on Sunday. Rooms as you would expect for such a hotel - standard design and decor. When we stayed in August again ate in restaurant on Saturday but were seated... more

This was the second time I had stayed at the Village Maidstone and again it was a pleasant experience.. The hotel is close to the M20 and does suffer some traffic noise. Living close to a bypass at home I do not find this a problem. Check-In was quick and efficient and the room was clean. The hotel offers free... more

I have stayed at this hotel on quite a few occasions and have always had a clean room, great food and polite staff. I have been there during a fire alarm before, however it happens (usually by thoughtless guests tampering with smoke detectors) and this particular time it was dealt with efficiently. We have dined in the restaurant several times... more

Nice hotel, stayed there on recommendation. Not overly impressed on arrival, the staff where not overly friendly but it was a comfortable and clean room altho freezing cold. We had attended a wedding reception that evening and returned back to the Hotel around 2am. At approximately 4.30am the fire alarm went off, all guests evacuated the building and a member... more

We stayed at this Hotel after a Christmas party and found the room clean and comfortable. The pillows were also extremely comfortable and I am fussy!! It was warm in the room but I was greatful because of the time of year. We are planning to stay in the hotel on our wedding night in May 2008 and we're certainly... more

Fair sized room for 4 – very stuffy after a while. Usual size double bed but very small second family bed – our 6 year old found it short and our 14 year old was insulted!! Usual TV channels and good power shower but ….. Major drawback of the room was the generating power unit over the pool/leisure complex which... more
