We had stayed at Thurnham Keep previously (see review) but didn't want somewhere quite so expensive - we loved the food at the Black Horse so decided to book another meal and give their accommodation a try. This is a great little pub that does well-priced tasty food and has a really strong local following. They have also built a significant number of comfortable cabin style rooms, landscaped really well into the grounds. This is good quality accommodation at a very reasonable price. I have stayed many times and always found the staff happy, helpful and welcoming.... more
