My mum and I were delighted to have found this B&B and would recommend it to anyone. It's a little complex of individual rooms intersected by pathways and ponds in the heart of the countryside - complete with wildlife (friendly ducks wandering around) and each room is named after a wild flower. They're modern and super-clean, comfortable and spacious. When... more

Stayed just recently as a get away break, very close to Leeds Castle which was also part of the attraction as well as good reviews. The pub itself is very oldey worldly which i personally love, the slogans, hops and old kentish charm is such a winner, as are the excellent gardens and planting that looked gorgoeus in the height... more

We had stayed at Thurnham Keep previously (see review) but didn't want somewhere quite so expensive - we loved the food at the Black Horse so decided to book another meal and give their accommodation a try. The concept is lovely, individual ensuite chalet accommodation set in glorious Kentish countryside on the Pilgrims way - ducks and duck pond too... more

This is a great little pub that does well-priced tasty food and has a really strong local following. They have also built a significant number of comfortable cabin style rooms, landscaped really well into the grounds. This is good quality accommodation at a very reasonable price. I have stayed many times and always found the staff happy, helpful and welcoming.... more

Just stayed one night at the Black Horse Inn and will likely not return. First, its nearly impossible to find even using a navigation system, its down a one way narrow country road. We asked for directions from three different locals. The inn is darling with the rooms set back from the main pub/restaurant. This was one place that had... more

Stayed here with my husband and two teenage sons. We booked in the Sat evening and in the family room. The room was immaculate with ensuite and could not fault it, it was lovely and warm on our arrival with a tea/coffee tray at the ready. We had a fantastic breakfast, beautiful fresh fruit salad, local jams, breads yogurt and... more

This was our second stay at this inn, the first being a very good midweek stay, the latest being very different. The rooms at the inn are comfortable enough but they have very thin walls. The quality of the breakfast depended on the amount of people the chef had to cater for, small groups enjoyed a good breakfast of local... more

My boyfriend and I stayed for an evening for his birthday and stayed in the primrose room. Big airy and bright room, decorated in yellow, which was very homely. The double bed was also really comfy. Good sized bathroom, with bath and shower fitting. It was perfect for a get away from the hustle and bustle of life. It is... more
