An excellent hotel which does not cut corners. I hold all family get-togethers here because of the first rate service and food. They think of everything and nothing is too much trouble. Staff are friendly and very efficient. Would recommend this for staying, family, groups or business use. They cope with everything! more

Wow wow, this is a real gem of a hotel. We actually stayed there as a friend was having her 60th Party there. So we left home a little early so we could have lunch there, and what a lunch it was, absolutely out of this world. For starters I have prawn Salad, Hubby had mushrooms with garlic and stilton.... more

Nice to finally found a hotel that has family accommodation for four (with double bed and two single beds - not a mattress on the floor or a foldout bed). Double bed was the most comfortable that we had slept in whilst travelling. Staff were friendly, especially bar/restaurant staff. Our room was not in the main hotel building but in... more

We booked a family room at late notice via lastminute.com at £40 for a night. I feared the worst! The hotel is pleasant looking on arrival but the staff are fantastic! Helpful, friendly and willing to go an extra mile for you. We were in a triple bedded room which was in a clean annexed house opposite the hotel. The... more

I am a singled disabled traveller, which makes life a little difficult for me, but the staff here were really helpfull, nothing too much trouble and these days that goes a long way. The disabled room was very large and a wet room with a seat to sit on when showering, that is rare, but wonderful. A large selection on... more

My English husband David and I stayed at Grange Moor several times---whenever we came in from the states---because we were treated so wonderfully. The staff was friendly and eager to please us, and you can be sure that David enjoyed the traditional English breakfast, something he didn't too often get in the USA! Thank you so very much. Fonda Martin... more

We stayed for one night following my husbands work Christmas Party which was held at the hotel. For mass catering the food was excellent and the entertainment very good indeed. Fab, Robbie Williams tribute singer. The hotel was fine given what we paid....£60.00 per room including a full English breakfast which was outstanding and much needed after an alcohol fueled... more
