I knew it was cheap but having stayed in good pub accommodation in the past I was not ready for the shock. It took us four trips around the one way system before we found the car park. We stayed there about a month ago, the shower was dirty, paint peeling from windows, dirty sheets, luckily we were both too drunk to notice when we came back but would never stay there again.

I understand you cant expect much for £40 but this place was horrible. The ceilings were falling in, the room was shoddy with chipped paint on the walls, stained sheets and a mouldy dirty shower.
