Stayed here overnight on a coach tour. Good bits : food is reasonable, we had a carvery meal where there was turkey, ham, fish and 2 chinese dishes available along with usual veg, rice and potatoes. I had stayed here about 5 years ago when it was a reasonable hotel to stay at, the other reviews did not make good reading but I decided to give it a try. When I arrived there were 4 staff members standing outside at the main entrance smoking cigarettes. Staff keep on going there when on duty even the manager.... more

sadly a poor example of a hotel. This is one that is best suited for middle america at $20 a night! sadly its around the £75 a night and not worth it. Looks nice but built and operated to a strict budget. Kids employed almost everywhere. Room unheated till key card inserted. Food unimaginative and expensive. Breakfast mass produced rubbish. A big pool will please some, but for the seasoned budget conscious business traveller, find somewhere else! more

I stayed at the hotel with my two nieces, booked the trip via National Holidays (trip to Cadbury included). I must say we had a great time, food was fab and the staff very helpful. Stayed over for one night in a twin room. I wasn't expecting anything wonderful as the hotel is definitely attracting the casual traveller needing to stay near Birmingham.
